Offhand

Offhand · by Cian O'Neill

AI systems that run your business while your hands are off it.

I build AI agents, multi-agent workflows, store automation, content engines and GTM systems for small teams, then hand you the operating manual that keeps them honest. Everything I sell, I run in my own businesses first. Fixed scope. Fixed price. You own everything at the end.

Who this is for

Built for teams that are too small to have an automation team.

Founders doing three jobs

You are the sales team, the support desk and the ops manager. The first agent takes one of those off you inside a month.

E-commerce brands under ten people

Listings, pricing, ads checks, social content, email flows and the Monday review. Everything that is currently a tab you keep meaning to open.

Teams with too many AI tools and no system

Five subscriptions, three chatbots and nothing talking to anything. I wire them into one set of agents with one source of truth and one set of rules.

Sales teams without a GTM engineer

Account research, signal scans, a daily memo and messaging built from your customers' own words, running every morning before the team logs on.

Services

Four things I build. Each one has a fixed scope and a number on it.

Start here

The Automation Map

Two working sessions, then a ranked blueprint of every automation worth building in your business, each with the effort, the payoff and the order to build them in. You keep it whether or not we build together.

  • Two 90-minute sessions walking your actual workflows
  • A written map ranked by return on effort
  • Tool and model recommendations that are free or already paid for
  • A fixed quote for anything on the map

$1,200 fixed. Credited against any build in the next 60 days.

Agents that own a job

Inbox triage, lead follow-up, research briefs, daily reporting, customer replies, content production. One agent with one clear job, or a small team of them with a router and a shared brain, wired into the tools you already use and talking to you on Telegram, Slack or WhatsApp.

  • Discovery, build, test and handover
  • An operating manual every agent reads before every task
  • Model routing so routine work runs on cheap models
  • Approval gates on anything that sends, spends or deletes
  • Thirty days of tuning after go-live

from $4,700 one-off build, plus $350 a month to run, watch and fix.

Three to five weeks

E-commerce

Store in a Box

A Shopify store that runs its own week. Sourcing rules, listings in brand voice, pricing floors, product research, AI product video, social posting behind an approval sheet, ad checks with written kill rules, support macros and a Monday KPI review that ends in decisions.

  • Store build or rebuild on Shopify
  • The operating skills, tuned to your catalogue
  • Content and social pipeline with an approval sheet
  • Ads monitor with kill rules and spend caps
  • Weekly review running by the end of week four

from $3,500 one-off, plus $300 a month for the weekly review and upkeep.

Four weeks

Sales teams

The GTM Engine

Enrichment, timing-based scoring, daily site and job-board scans, a morning memo, and outreach drafts per persona written from your customers' own words. Built in the order that lets you see which layer is wrong when a number is wrong.

  • ICP definition with the disqualifiers written down
  • Daily signal scans across your target list
  • Memo to inbox and chat before the team starts
  • Reporting split by segment and persona, not the useless average

from $7,000 one-off, plus $500 a month to run and refresh the list.

Five to six weeks

Proof

Every service here is something already running in my own life or business.

I do not sell things I have not built. The agent framework, the store, the content engine, the mission-control layer and the GTM engine: all live, all documented with the architecture and what broke.

Process

Four steps. No hourly billing, no surprises, no "phase two".

  1. 01

    Map

Two sessions on how the work actually flows today. Not how the org chart says it does.

  2. 02

    Blueprint

A ranked list of what to build, what it costs, what it returns, and what to leave alone. Fixed quote attached.

  3. 03

    Build

Built in your tools, on your accounts, with approval gates on anything that sends, spends or deletes. You watch it work before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Hand over

The operating manual, the credentials, the runbook for when it breaks. You run it, and you know how to change it.

Free before paid

If the free tier does the job, we use the free tier. I will tell you when a paid tool is worth it and show you the maths.

Test the outcome

Every system is tested on whether the thing happened, not whether the system said it did. I learned this one the hard way.

Nothing sends without a human

Email, payments, deletions and posts all sit behind an approval until you decide otherwise.

You own it

Your accounts, your credentials, your manual, plain-text skills you can read. Fire me and it keeps running.

Pricing

One build fee. One small monthly fee if you want it run for you.

Questions

The things people ask before they enquire.

Have you built these for yourself?

Every one. The store, the content engine, the agent framework and the research desk all run in my own businesses every day, and each one has a build page on this site with what it does and what broke. You are buying something I already depend on.

Do I need technical staff to run this afterwards?

No. Every system ships with an operating manual written for the person who will use it, and the skills are plain text you can read and edit. If you can write an email, you can change how an agent behaves.

Which tools do you use?

Whatever you already pay for, first. Beyond that, open standards: MCP connectors and the Agent Skills format, which work across Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor. I do not lock you into a platform I get paid to recommend.

What does it cost to run per month?

Usually less than one software subscription. Most builds route work to cheap models first and only call the expensive ones when the job needs it. The map tells you the number before you commit.

Is it safe to give an agent access to my inbox or store?

Only with limits, which is why every build starts with the rules: one credential per agent, a fixed list of allowed actions, spend caps, quiet hours and a human approval on anything outbound. I audited my own agents and published what I found.

How fast can we start?

The Automation Map usually starts within two weeks. Builds are scheduled off the map. I take on a small number at a time so each one gets finished properly.

Where are you based?

Singapore. Sessions run on video, so it makes no difference where you are. Invoices in USD.

Start with the map.

Two sessions, one ranked blueprint, a fixed quote. Worst case you leave with a clear list of what to automate and what to ignore. Enquire and I'll reply within a working day.
